Para mi, el mejor de los cineastas. ‘E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial’, ‘Indiana Jones’ y ‘Back to the future’, son muestras de su gran talento como cineasta, pero no son las únicas. ‘Jaws’ y ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’, son dos películas que realizó en 1.975 y 1.977 y se convirtieron en clásicos. La primera de éstas empezó la tradición del ‘blockbuster’.
Cómo no va a ser digno de admirar este personaje que ahora es una de las personas más ricas de Hollywood y uno de los directores más influyentes del mundo. Él no sólo se dedica a escribir, producir y dirigir películas, sino también a hacer series de televisión, dibujos animados y a crear video-juegos. Fundó junto a Jeffrey Katzenberg y David Geffen a Dreamworks, el estudio que ha producido las exitosas películas animadas ‘Shrek’, ‘Kung Fu Panda’, entre otras.
Las estatuillas del Óscar que ha recibido han sido por sus obras maestras: ‘The Schindler’s List’ y ‘Saving Private Ryan’. Incluso revivió a los dinosaurios en ‘Jurassic Park’.
Entre las decenas de películas que ha hecho Spielberg y de consagrarse como uno de los más grandes directores de todos los tiempos, sólo me queda algo qué decir: Yo quiero ser como él.

For me, the best filmmaker.E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Indiana Jones y Back to the future (All of them), are samples of his great talent as a filmmaker, but not the only. Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, are two of the movies he did between 1.975 and 1.977 and became classics. The first one of these started with the tradition of blockbuster movie.
How not to admire him if now he is one of the richest in Hollywood and one of the most influential directors across the world. He not only writes, produces and directs movies, but also TV shows, cartoons and also creates video games (Such as Medal of Honor).
He co-founded Dreamworks, with Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen, the studio responsible of the succesful Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, among others.
He owns the Academy Awards for masterpieces such as: The Schindler’s List (that also got a BAFTA and a Golden Globe) and Saving Private Ryan. He even rebirth dinosaurs on Jurassic Park.
Among the movies he had done and becoming one of the greatest directors of all times I just have one thing to say: I want to be like him.
